I started toctour in 2018

in the middle of a creative rut. As a new hockey fan, I decided to cut my teeth on video editing by making fanvids for my favorite team. One thing led to another, and by the time my final exams rolled around, I was writing a small biography on Sidney Crosby as an excuse to procrastinate on studying.

I’m captivated by the stories we tell ourselves and each other about sports—the mythmaking we do to create meaning out of games. Sports have radically changed my life and torchtoburn is my “thank you” offered in exchange.
